Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum

Nagasakimuseum The Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum in the city of Nagasaki, commemorates the explosion of the atomic bomb that devastated Nagasaki on August 9th, 1945. The first atomic bomb museum was built in 1955, and the present one was opened in April 1996 on the 50th anniversary of the bombing. The museum covers the history of the event, the history of nuclear weapons development, and displays photographs, relics and documents related to the atomic bombing.
